Kingsport, TN - Hardee's was the food sponsor for this year's Mutual of Omaha Drive, Chip & Putt contest held May 14, 2006 at the Cattails at Meadowview Golf Course. The contest, sponsored by the Golf Channel, provides boys and girls ages 7-14 with an opportunity to compete in a fun series of events that help test and develop their golf skills.
There are four age groups to compete in: 7-8; 9-10; 11-12; and 13-14. Prizes are awarded for the top competitors in each of the driving, chipping and putting skills and the top three overall scorers in each age group qualify for a regional event. Participants can earn a spot in the national championship in Orlando by winning their age group at regionals.
Hardee's was pleased to provide food for this year's 200 participants and congratulates those who made it to the regionals!
