VIRGINIA -- Hardee’s restaurants located in the Tri-Cities of northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia are kicking-off their annual fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of East Tennessee this week.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of East Tennessee provides wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Hardee’s customers can make a minimum $1 purchase of paper cut-out clouds that will be displayed inside each restaurant. This is the fourth year Hardee’s in the Tri-cities area have participated. In 2005, they raised $5,154.00 for The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of East Tennessee. This fundraiser will conclude on March 12th, 2007. Hardees located in the Tri-cities are owned and operated by Restaurant Management Group (RMG). RMG has a strong commitment to the community it serves.
The local Make-A-Wish organization granted its first wish in 1988 and has granted over 400 wishes through the services of more than 120 volunteers since then.
